Tanya--in all her cuteness
Just around two years old, Tanya (John and Francie’s daughter) is quickly learning Ifugao and English. She doesn’t see a lot of white people, but she knows three names pretty well: Adam, Eva (Adam’s girlfriend) and Jennie. Usually when I come in the house, she calls me Adam, then Eva, then Jennie. She’s getting better though. Whenever a white person walks by their house, or they’re at the market, she shout out: “Adam!” even if she’s a female. It’s kind of endearing, when you think about it. She just adores him. I think I’m starting to wear on her a bit too.
